Women are fragile creatures. Pregnancy is even more so. The media portrays us as superwomen who have to do everything, but take it easy after childbirth.
You may dread the needle on the scale for nine months. Weight gain is normal. Some will gain, some will lose. Every woman is different, so there is no need to be overly concerned about the scale or weight gain. But that doesn\’t mean you can eat too much. Eat potato chips on the couch at night and drink liters of sweet lemonade. If you want to stay healthy after giving birth, follow the basics of a healthy diet and make sure you eat a balanced diet.
You have a small child and decide to start losing weight right away. Take your time. You have plenty of time. The most important thing you need right now is to take care of yourself and your baby. But how can you quickly get back into shape after being “sloppy” for nine months? Let\’s start with the fact that pregnancy is not a disease. Your doctor may order certain restrictions and rest, but other than that, you can safely engage in moderate sports. Activity will pay off during and after delivery. Hiking, swimming, and yoga are all appropriate. Today\’s fitness centers offer exercise for pregnant women under the guidance of experienced instructors.
If you have already left the hospital, start slowly. Food is key. Eat and drink. But in a healthy way! Consider that you must breastfeed your baby. Breastfeeding consumes a plate of chocolate a day. If you follow the guidelines, your stomach will not bloat and your baby will not suffer. Ideally, you should adhere to five meals a day. You may think that\’s impossible. The constant screaming will make it impossible to eat calmly. If you always have a small snack available, your partner will be able to eat at least one meal a day without worry.
Watch your mobility. Start with short, slow walks around the neighborhood and gradually increase the distance you walk. Walking will help you lose weight quickly. Make sure you have good quality shoes and a jacket. Get yourself some water and a drink, and off you go.
Don\’t despair if you are running late. Raising a child takes time and lots of exercise. Don\’t stress and remember that the ideal measure of weight is not in kilograms, but in clothes. If you look good in the clothes you wore before you got pregnant, you win.
