I am glad there is such a technological thing that people can use. Of course, people are happy to use it. If people don\’t want it, or if it is harmful to them, then it makes sense to stop using it. But of course there are always people who get something and break it, or don\’t know how to open it, or don\’t know how to use it. I remember once I ordered an electric bicycle, and the gentleman in the shop told me that he had a problem with it, and that I should get a new one. Of course, the gentleman at the store explained to me how to use it. Which button to press to start the bike, which button to change gears. But I had forgotten that.
Unfortunately, I often forget, so what ended up happening was that when I left my bike at home for two weeks, I couldn\’t ride it because of the rain, so I took it outside to move it I totally forgot where to press the button to activate the bike\’s system. At least that\’s what the guy always said. It took me about two hours to figure it out. By the time I got home, I was fuming that my bike must be broken, they must have given me something wrong, and I wanted to file a claim. Luckily, a friend of mine also had an electric bike and was also a tech and electronics freak, so he taught me everything he knew.
I was really happy. I don\’t know what I would have done, but I probably would have been embarrassed to go to a bike shop afterwards and tell them I had a broken bike. All I had to do was push the little button under the hubcap. I was quite embarrassed, even in front of my friends, because I felt like an idiot. Since then, I pay attention to everything and always read the manuals and user\’s guides. There is no better technology than technology. People who are tech-savvy can easily get their hands on equipment they don\’t understand at all. And I didn\’t really understand electric bicycles. I was new to electric bicycles, otherwise I would have had a regular bike without a motor.
