1. Take a selfie! Make the craziest face you can think of or take a really nice picture instead. Wear your best clothes and get your makeup and hair done. If that doesn\’t work, send that picture to someone. That person will no doubt compliment you on your expression and grin, and they will chime in with a grinning picture of themselves. Then they will surely laugh at you!
2. Dress confidently
It has been proven that wearing something smart, like heels and dress instead of plain jeans and a blouse, will make you feel more confident and therefore more cheerful. Try to take something out of your wardrobe that is not just boring, but something that will boost your self-esteem. However, if you do decide to go to such a place, remember to make sure that the dress is comfortable.
3. Take a walk
Preferably in the countryside. You can go for a little walk alone or with your partner or four-legged pet. The stress will be almost gone, you will come up with other ideas, and you will be able to do something for your health. Listening to music on your headphones will make you feel like no one is interrupting you.
4. Do something for others
Send money or clothes to someone in need. Altruism can be healing.
