If you like the South Bohemian region, you may have already visited two towns that are definitely worth a visit. One of them is Telč. One glance at the picturesque town square will convince you that this town is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
§ The zacharias of Fradec Square are magnificent.
§ And surely this is why the town appears in fairy tales.
§ And one of the most famous.
“The Proud Princess” was filmed here in 1951 and still has a large Christmas audience.Three years passed, and Terezhsky was able to meet on the streets of the town actors such as Jaroslav Malvan
– Aldrich Novy
– Josef Bek
– Frantisek Kovalik, who appeared in the film “Music on Mars”.
And if you were lucky, you could see the beautiful Krasomira in 1954.Another 10 years later (1964), filmmakers waited for their moment, “When the Cat Comes Home.” And the wait with Vladimir Menschik, Irina Bodarová, Vlastimir Brodsky, and other representatives of the film was certainly not dull: “Petr Vok\’s Wedding”, “The Unripe Raspberry”, “How the Princess Wakes How” …….
Slavonice\’s Festivals
Slavonice [48] may be a small town, but only in size and population. Settlement in the area dates back to the 12th century. After all, like many settlements established by the Hradec lords, Slavonice was already a town in the 14th century.
§One phase that occurred in the 16th century was important for the current inhabitants of the town.
§When the majority of the town\’s inhabitants converted to the Protestant side in the 16th century, the character of the town began to change.
§Behold the sgraffito decoration of the preserved town house.
These decorated houses are characteristic of Slavonice and attract visitors to the annual Slavonice Fest, a festival of film art.
