Some people want to “live happily ever after” in a serious relationship, while others are looking for casual sex. These days, however, all of the so-called “unmatched” are looking for someone (and there is something wrong with those who aren\’t). In the past, young and old used to meet at various social gatherings, but now there is no need to go to such events. But the natural interpersonal chemistry that our species has been breeding for centuries does not work with online communication. That\’s why dating sites – sites where singles get engaged, horny people “vent,” married people find lovers, and married people find lovers – have begun to emerge.
But there is a terrible difference between dating sites. From free dating sites where you start getting dozens of messages spit out from the undoubtedly real people you are looking for, to exclusive paid dating sites. From tinder sites that simply rate potential mates using the “like left, dislike right” method, like Nazi officers did in concentration camps, to dating sites that create detailed profiles in order to match you with your ideal match (supposedly a scientific method).
Because of this diversity in dating sites, it is impossible to clearly answer the question posed in the title of the article. While there may indeed be sites that give you a chance at love, there are also likely to be sites that are scams aimed at your wallet. In other words, it depends on what you want. A different woman (or hooker?) every night? If you want to have sex with a different woman (or prostitute?) every night, get Tinder, put up your best pictures, and move from the village to Prague (or at least Brno). But if you\’re looking for a serious relationship, you won\’t find one on a free dating site. Or try to find a partner in real life.
Be prepared for dating sites to become more and more popular. There is nothing we can do about it, so we have to accept it.
